The crow decoy call can produce just the right sound to lure both young and old crows. The sound level of the decoy call is sufficiently loud that it can be called from a relatively long distance.
The decoy call is made of durable acrylic plastic, so it can easily be used even if moisture gets into the call.
- To outsmart the older crows you can use the decoy call with both contact vrrraa, vrrraa, vrrraa and reply sound vrrrooo, vrrrooo, vrrrooo.
- To lure younger crows, blow the decoy call without producing vrrraa or vrrrooo sounds.
- Hold the lure between your thumb and forefinger and fold your hand slightly to form a sound chamber. Bite lightly with the front teeth around the reed. Open and close your fingers while blowing the decoy call.
The crow call is hand tuned to ensure the exact sound.
